Snowflake Challenge - Day 2

Day 2

In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms and explain why you love them.

Go check out the other recs, here: http://snowflake-challenge.dreamwidth.org/7461.html -- and it'll change as the day goes on!

My recommendations...

Okay, it needs a *lot* of love, but it was one of the earlier things I did in fandom. Updating Crossroads at least some is on my to-do list for 2014. But it's a great go-to when you're looking for a specific fic or looking for something to read.

The Slash Report
OMG! Pru and MK do a regular podcast, on winter break now but they run weekly-ish, looking at the world thru slash goggles. Their older shows are available online and you can subscribe to their feed. It's definitely an adult-only type show, they drop F-bombs regularly. So, not for the faint of heart.

Slash World
The site is run by Keira Marcos and it's an ongoing effort to rec slash fic (including some vids and original fiction). It's multi-fandom and I've picked up some great fic there. Again, subscribe to the feed to get recs on fic. Not everything is a new fic, there are some fandom classics on the list. But if you're eyeing a new fandom, maybe a way to check out some fic to see what's been rec'd.

Whee! This is fun!
