I'll be writing a Harlequin that, to be honest, is vaguely based on a story that's been in my head for a while. The July challenge is to write an original story, not fan fiction, and since I haven't done anything like that in a long time, so I figured this was my chance.
The story will be posted unedited and will be too much dialog before I'm done, because that's the way I mostly write. I write most of the dialog and then go back and fill in the action and emotions around that. So 30,000 words is going to be harder than normal because I can't 'fix' as much as I usually do. But I hope to post a couple times a week in chunks so I can do some of that editing to get to the word count! :-)
The title of the story is "And Maybe A Bit Wiser" ... titles without stories are hard... so it's something to work with while I see what really happens.
Anyone want to watch is more than welcome to do so. Some encouragement along the way will be greatly appreciated!
Since I have to do this and finish my McShep Match story, I'm going to be around LJ less... I'm always here, mostly lurking... but have to put my head down to actually get all this done!
