Prompt: #22: Snowman
Summary: It was a pathetic snowman.
It was a pathetic snowman. There had been only a thin layer of wet snow and Harry had scraped up almost everything from the backyard to make the sculpture.
Although Harry looked proud enough of it.
"I never got to do this as a kid," Harry admitted, putting a Gryffindor scarf around the awkwardly stacked pile of snow.
"It is… interesting," was the best Severus could say.
"You're being kind," Harry laughed and came to him for a small kiss. "It's bloody awful."
Severus sighed in relief. "You are a Wizard, you know," he reminded Harry. "You could fix it."
"Nah," Harry said. "It's something I did with my own hands." He shrugged. "You know…"
Severus did. Doing something yourself was more meaningful.
"You don't have to stand here in the cold and watch," Harry added.
"Warming charms," Severus admitted. "I'm quite comfortable."
"Didn't want to melt the snow," Harry said. He came over and slipped a cold hand in Severus'.
"Silly boy," Severus chided. He pulled Harry closer and cast a warming charm on him. "Can't have you catching a cold."
Harry snuggled in, wrapping his arms about Severus.
"You'll take care of me," he whispered against Severus' lips.
