Prompt: #15: Christmas Morning
Note: I had to write at least one of these for my Harry Potter friends!

Harry dragged himself into the house, kicking his muddied Auror robes and trainers into the same corner.
He desperately wanted a cup of tea and something to eat but he needed to sleep even more.
Trying to be quiet, he went to the loo, used a cleaning charm to get rid of the mud and grabbed sleep pants from the drawer.
"Everything turn out all right?" Severus asked softly, letting Harry know he was still awake.
"Everything went pear shaped," Harry sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Smarmy git talked his way past the bobbies on the perimeter."
"Since you're here, I assume you arrested him," Severus murmured.
"Yeah," Harry sighed. "But Robards is in St. Mungo's with multiple broken bones, which is why I'm late. Had to collect his wife, she's a Squib, and take her to him."
"Do you have to go in tomorrow?" Severus considered the time. "Later today?"
"No, thanks to Kingsley," Harry replied. "He made sure everyone that could, got the day off."
Harry heard Severus whisper a warming charm. "Then come to bed and get some sleep."
"But..." Harry dithered. "It's Christmas morning and we should..."
"We should sleep," Severus said firmly.
"But..." Harry said weakly.
"No one is expecting you to be anywhere," Severus guided Harry next to him. "I talked to Molly and explained we may not be there. She promised to send dinner by later this afternoon."
"Teddy..." Harry mumbled.
"I have already sent his presents to Andromeda," Severus stated calmly. "And I promised we would take him for a weekend soon."
"I wanted to watch," Harry fretted.
"You can buy him another present and watch him open that," Severus said against Harry's lips.
"But your present..." Harry whispered sleepily.
"I don't need anything," Severus replied. "I have you."
