Going home wasn't always easy.
Beyond schedules, travel -- hello? another galaxy! -- there was the fact that it really wasn't home anymore.
It didn't mean he shouldn't go.
"Yes, we should go," Rodney repeated patiently.
"You don't have to..." John offered half-heartedly
"Both of us," Rodney said firmly.
So they made plans, arranged leave, ordered gifts and packed.
Commercial travel was a nightmare; Rodney almost turned back at the airport. But by then they were committed.
The last few steps were the hardest. He knocked.
Dave answered the door.
With bravado and hopefulness, John asked, "Hey! Got room for two more?"
