In your own space, promote a canon/talk about a part of canon that you love.
Hmm... I'm going to go with something 'built' for each of my primary fandoms.
In Stargate Atlantis, it's Atlantis itself. The lost city of the Ancients is huge and has so many unexplored places that it leaves a lot to the imagination... labs, living space, repositories, good things, bad things, evil things... it's all there.
In Teen Wolf, it's the Preserve and the Nemeton. Again, the power of the Nemeton can be anything from 0 to 1000 and it can be used in many different ways by all of the characters.
In Harry Potter, it's Magic. I mean, how can you go wrong with magic? It can do anything!
