Saving Jack O'Neill - Chapter 3

I'm writing again for Rough Trade, and this month's challenge is to change the ending of a movie, any movie... Well, any two movies. So early July (1 - 15) is for movie 1 and later July (16-31) is for a second movie. And specifically a movie and not a TV show.

Of course, I'm working with Stargate (the original movie) as my first movie. I'm currently up to Chapter 3 and I have 3 or 4 more to go before I'll be finished. My original goal is 12K words, but if I make 10K I'll be happy.
